In the first few days, it’s a good idea to relax daily to get used to quieting your mind and to feel the effects more deeply. Later, you’ll be able to sense what works best for you. If it feels good, you can continue daily, or do it a few times a week. Whenever you feel the need, you can always return to a daily practice.
Try listening to the relaxation in the same way, but you don’t have to go through the whole session. If you can only manage a few minutes, that’s perfectly fine! Test which time of day helps you relax best, and schedule it then.
Whichever feels comfortable for you. If you learn to relax while sitting, you’ll be able to do it comfortably anywhere. If you prefer lying down, you can schedule it for early morning or late evening, when you’re at home.
